Ballena Bay Yacht Club welcomes cruise-ins by all PICYA and YCA affiliated yacht clubs.
Please inquire with the BBYC Port Captain to discuss custom arrangements.
Request a date, brainstorm about leveraging existing BBYC events and area activities, and discuss your docking and anchoring needs.
The sky is the limit on what is possible at the BBYC clubhouse and Alameda island.

After you have confirmed dates & plans with the BBYC Port Captain, you will need to formalize dock reservations at Safe Harbor Ballena Isle Marina through Dockspot.
Note in Dockspot that you are part of your the cruise-in for your club.
Cruise-in guests are welcome to hang out at our members-only bar, staffed by Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certified volunteers. If our standard hours don't cut it, let us know and we will work out a schedule that does.
Collaborate with BBYC to plan a dinner in the Pacific Cup Room for up to 50.
In addition to your event(s) at the BBYC, check out delicious dining options and views of the San Francisco skyline at the Pier 29 Restaurant and Abigail's Moroccan Cuisine.
A short walk or an even shorter Uber ride to the nearby USS Hornet Museum opens the door to a fabulous tour of the storied ship. The Pacific Pinball Museum, the Alameda Naval Air Museum, and the Alameda Museum are also nearby for those interested in island history.
The Faction Brewing taproom, Humble Sea Brewing Co., Almanac Adventure Land and Brewery, and The Rake at Admiral Maltings are all just a short Uber ride away from the marina. While in the area, visit Saltbreaker restaurant for a fine dining, cocktail bar experience.
Visit BBYC neighbor, Club Nautique, at their Alameda location. Club Nautique is an award-winning sailing and powerboating school offering U.S. Sailing and U.S. Powerboating certifications, skill building courses, and charter boats.
