Richmond Yacht Club Cruise Out

JULY 17-18

RICHMOND YACHT CLUB

351 Brickyard Cove Rd. Richmond, Ca 94801

(520) 237-2821

Located in Brickyard Cove at Point Richmond, the Richmond Yacht Club has long had a reputation as the “sailingest” club on San Francisco Bay. In 1932, a group of Richmond locals joined forces to form the RYC united by a common desire to promote sailing, they built their own boats, sewed their own sails constructed their own cu house, and ran their own races. The RYC’s location offers almost immediate access to the Bay which is ideal for both racing and sailing. There are several historic sites in the area worth a visit and several good restaurants in town. The RYC also has a newly renovated clubhouse that overlooks the bay

SLIP FEE:

RYC will try to assign vacant births in advance but also has a guest dock up front that is available. Non-member fees are $1.50/foot/night. Only visiting club members boats are allowed with registration and insurance is required

RYC is located at 37°54’29” N, 122°23’00” W in Point Richmond CA.

Find the marina by arriving at the entrance to the Richmond Inner Harbor and Point Potrero Reach. Upon entering the Reach, look for RYC on the left; the harbor breakwater and entrance are clearly marked as “Richmond Yacht Club.”
